I’ve been asked before, “what makes Mexico so amazing and why should I go?” I tell them that it’s the rich culture and incredible people 🇲🇽
All of Mexico is beautiful, no matter where you go. But to me, the beauty of Mexico doesn’t just come from the tourist resorts and beaches 📸 To me, the beauty of Mexico is found in the people as they continue to embrace the culture that makes them so unique. The most beautiful place in Mexico isn’t the most-visited... it’s the spot right off the road that has agave fields that spread as far as the eye can see. The most beautiful place in Mexico is a street corner where the Elotero is cooking up maíz for the day. The most beautiful place in Mexico is in front of the smile of its people.
And that’s why I’m proud to be Mexican ❤️🇲🇽

“Beware the Ides of March...” Normally each year on March 15th I make a joke about Julius Caesar and how he was infamously killed on the Ides of March. But a year ago today, March 15, 2020, I had to flee London because of COVID shutting the borders. All of my hopes, plans, and dreams for the next year were cut short as I frantically boarded a flight in an attempt to repatriate before it was too late 🇺🇸
It’s been 1 year and so much has changed in the world since this picture was taken. Mentally, I still think it’s this time last year... we’ve all had a year of our lives taken from us in some capacity. Let’s hope that the next year we can finally get back to normal and back to travel! ✈️
